From Butler Township Tax Collector.
The last day to pay property taxes issued in 2025 is 12/31/25.
Please remember that Personal and Business checks are not accepted after 12/15/25. You must pay with either a money order or a cashiers bank check.
In addition, you cannot add tax bills together. Each tax bill requires its own funds.
If you’ve made a payment please make sure your check has cleared your checking account.
If you are mailing a payment at the end of the year, please remember that the envelope must be postmarked by 12/31/2025. I cannot accept a payment postmarked in January. Mail is NOT picked up at 5PM anymore so mailing it in an outside box will cause it to have a postmark after the end of the year. You must take it inside and ask them to postmark it by 12/31/25.
My hours for the remainder of the year are as follows.
Collection Tuesday Dec 23rd 3pm to 6pm
Closed 12/24 thru 12/28/25 for Christmas.
Collection Tuesday 12/30 3pm to 6pm
Collection Wednesday 12/31 4pm to 6pm. This is the last day to make payment.
