Little Free Library
In December of 2016, Butler Township celebrated the grand opening of its very own Little Free Library, which was donated to the community center by Girl Scouts troops 30268 and 30364.
The Little Free Library is a “take a book, return a book” free book exchange. The library is located at the Butler Township Community Center, 411 W. Butler Drive in Drums, and is open to anyone who wishes to use it.
The girls and their troop leaders did a wonderful job on painting, decorating and gathering book donations for the Library.
Pictured below are Girl Scout troop members at the library opening. State Representative Tarah Toohil and Miss Greater Hazleton 2016 Brianna Kubishin were also on hand to celebrate the grand opening.
